Actor Vicky Kaushal recently recalled how paparazzi were trying to get a glimpse of his wedding ceremonies in Rajasthan. The actor had an intimate wedding ceremony with Katrina Kaif in December 2021.
Actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding ceremony in Rajasthan was an intimate affair, with only close friends and family members in attendance. Since no paparazzi were allowed to cover their wedding, a few photographers climbed onto the roofs of neighbouring villages near their wedding venue. Recently, Vicky recalled the day and narrated a funny anecdote involving one of Katrina’s brothers, who was visiting Rajasthan for the first time.
Speaking on Tanmay Bhat’s YouTube channel, Vicky shared, “All the paparazzi and media that came, they had completely surrounded the venue and even took over the terraces of the neighbouring village. They were trying to capture everything with telephoto lenses.”
Commenting on the first photo from his wedding, which was widely shared on social media, Vicky said, “The first photo they got was of one of Katrina’s brothers, who was visiting Rajasthan from the UK for the first time, sunbathing in trunks.”
The actor then laughed and added, “Usse sur chhid gaya. Maine kaha ab yeh set ho gaya. Yeh best hai (That set the tone. I said now it’s good. This is great).”
Katrina Kaif had earlier described the process of planning her wedding to Vicky as a “nerve-wracking experience”.
Speaking at the Red Sea Film Festival, the ‘Tiger 3’ actor said, “We were trying to plan our wedding just as the world was opening up. Like many people, we had to wait for the lockdowns to be lifted so that we could have a wedding with all our families present. All that I was keeping my fingers crossed for was that my entire family could be there from all corners of the world, which we managed. So yes, that was wonderful.”
On the professional front, Vicky’s latest film ‘Bad Newz’ has hit theatres and has been receiving mixed reviews from audiences.
