Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and other newcomers from The Archies, along with director Zoya Akhtar, recently made an appearance on Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 to promote their newly launched Netflix movie.
During the show, a surprising revelation occurred when Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, admitted to not being aware that her father had been honored with the Padma Shri in 2005, which is the fourth-highest civilian award in India.
The moment unfolded when Suhana Khan faced a question related to her father’s accolades. The question posed was, ‘Shah Rukh Khan has not yet received which of these honors?’
The options included ‘(a) Padma Shri, (b) Legion of Honour, (c) L’Etoile d’Or, and (d) Volpi Cup.’
Suhana promptly responded with ‘(a) Padma Shri,’ leaving both Amitabh and Vedang Raina of The Archies astonished. Vedang expressed, ‘How could you get that wrong?’ Meanwhile, Amitabh questioned the surprising situation where a daughter seemed unaware of her father’s honors, stating,
‘Beti ko pataa nahi hain ki pitaa ko kyaa milaa hain. Keval baap ne itna hi bata ke bheja hai ki woh saamney baitha hain usne tumhare baap ka kirdaar adaa kiya hain. Toh unko bol dena ki bhaiyya jaraa aaram se sawaal pucho. Abhi itna aaram se sawaal pucha phirr bhi uska jawab nahi de payi yeh.’

Suhana Khan felt embarrassed for not providing the correct answer, as the right one was ‘(d) Volpi Cup.’
In the course of the episode, Bachchan inquired if SRK had offered any advice before her appearance on the show. Suhana revealed that Khan had advised her to remind him that he had portrayed his father’s role on screen, hence suggesting to ask easy questions.
