Now the makers seem to be planning a similar move with Akshay Kumar. Owing to his fanbase and superstar stardom, Akshay promoting Tenet will be a huge thing for it. As a report in Bollywood Hungama, this is just an idea yet, and no confirmations have been given. For the unversed, the Christopher Nolan directorial also stars Sooryavanshi star’s mother-in-law Dimple Kapadia.

Talking about the same, a source close to the development said, “Nothing concrete as yet. But Akshay is a leading voice in the film industry, and he has a big-theatre release of his own, Sooryavanshi coming up. Akshay could be a part of a great confidence-building exercise by visiting a theatre or two showing Tenet when it opens in India.”

As of yet, Tenet has crossed the $150 Million mark at the global box office. The India release date is still not confirmed, as theatres remain closed due to the pandemic.
