Amitabh Bachchan recently posted a video on Instagram, believing it was from his 1991 movie Agneepath. The veteran actor paired it with a recent video of himself running away from the camera, reflecting on the hustle he still endures at 81.

However, netizens quickly pointed out that the clip was actually from another of his movies, Akayla.

Realizing the error, Big B issued an apology on his Instagram stories, writing, “

Apologies … that picture I posted of running saying from Agneepath .. wrong! It’s from AKAYLA. thank you well-wishers.”

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is enjoying the success of his latest film, Kalki 2898 AD. He recently shared a photo on Instagram where he was seen hanging from a wire with a hand-like structure in front of him and many lights around. His caption read,

“Errr … KALKI at work !! Umm .. just hanging around.”

On the work front, Bachchan has started shooting for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Last week, he shared the first photo from the sets of the quiz show on his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. In the black and white picture, he is seen spreading his arms as if welcoming the audience to the new season. He wrote,

“T 5082 – BACK to KBC 16th season.”

Amitabh Bachchan has been the host of KBC since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. During the last episode of KBC 15, Bachchan got emotional and said,

“Devi aur Sajjano, ab hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. Apno se yeh keh pana ki kal se hum yahan nahi aa payenge, na kehne ki himmat hoti aur na kehne ka mann hota hai. Main Amitabh Bachchan iss daur ke liye, iss manch se akhri baar kehne jaa raha hu, Shubraatri.”

KBC 16 was announced in April this year when the show’s makers released a promo and announced that registrations were open. However, the official premiere date of KBC 16 is yet to be revealed.
