Ranveer Singh has taken down his wedding pictures with Deepika Padukone from his Instagram account, sparking speculation among fans. The Simmba actor, who is anticipating the arrival of his first child with Deepika, made this move recently.

Fans, fondly known as DeepVeer, may recall the series of heartwarming photos the couple shared from their two weddings in November 2018, where they celebrated Deepika’s Konkani and Ranveer’s Sindhi heritage with dual ceremonies.

Fast forward five years, and these cherished images are conspicuously absent from Ranveer’s Instagram grid.

Whether he has deleted or archived the photos remains unclear. Ranveer currently boasts 133 posts on his Instagram, with his earliest post dating back to January 2023, during a promotional campaign for a sportswear brand. Meanwhile, Deepika still retains the wedding photos on her account, and Ranveer continues to feature recent snapshots with her on his timeline.

 

This social media maneuver comes amidst Ranveer and Deepika’s babymoon excursion. A recent snapshot, purportedly from their vacation, captures Deepika descending the stairs of an aircraft in a comfortable brown overall, apt for maternity wear, accessorized with sunglasses. Following closely behind, Ranveer is attired in casual all-white attire, with Deepika’s noticeable baby bump hinting at their impending parenthood. Fans on Reddit showered the couple with blessings and good wishes in response to the image.

Now, Ranveer’s team has come forward and responded to the news that is doing rounds among his fans.

”It’s important to clarify that Singh has simply archived all content predating 2023, including his wedding pictures, rather than specifically deleting them. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone’s Instagram still retains their wedding photos,”

Republic World reported quoting Ranveer’s team.

Deepika and Ranveer disclosed the news of the actress’ pregnancy in February this year.

On the professional front, Deepika is presently engrossed in filming Singham Again. Recently, during her shoot, she posed with junior artists, garnering attention for her radiant pregnancy glow. Deepika, due to welcome her first child with Ranveer Singh in September 2024, is actively pursuing her career while embracing motherhood. In Singham Again, she portrays the role of a fierce police officer. Notably, a junior artist who collaborated with Deepika shared a selfie on Instagram, along with a sketch and bouquet, expressing admiration with a note addressed to their hero, Lady Singham.

Meanwhile, Ranveer is gearing up for Singham Again, reprising his role as Simmba. Additionally, he is anticipated to commence filming for Don 3 later this year.
