Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan were madly in love in the late 90s and their onscreen romance was also shipped by fans. However, it all went south when Aishwarya ended their romance after enduring Salman’s ‘alcoholism’ and ‘abuses (verbal, physical and emotional)’.

The actress had told TOI that Salman had not come to terms with their split and would hound her and cause physical injuries to himself when she refused to take his calls.
