Aamir Khan’s daughter, Ira Khan, faced criticism for her choice of bridal attire at her recent  wedding, with netizens expressing dissatisfaction with her sartorial selection for the special occasion.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare exchanged vows in a registered  marriage ceremony on January 3, 2024, held at Taj Lands End in Bandra.

Despite numerous captivating glimpses from the event circulating on the internet, it appears that Ira Khan failed to win the approval of netizens for her bridal look.

Following their union, the newlyweds, Ira and Nupur, made their debut appearance as a married couple, posing gracefully for the paparazzi.

Ira adorned herself in a traditional ensemble featuring shades of blue and baby pink, comprising a golden-hued dhoti paired with a black embroidered blouse and a captivating dupatta.

With her hair left open, she accessorized her look with a maang teeka, a heavy necklace, and matching earrings.

In contrast, Nupur complemented Ira’s simplicity with a blue sherwani paired with brown footwear, presenting a handsome appearance. The couple’s modest yet elegant attire captured the hearts of many.

However, as soon as Ira Khan’s wedding pictures surfaced online, netizens expressed their shock and disapproval of her bridal look. Criticisms ranged from dissatisfaction with the design of her outfit to pointing out her choice of wearing chappals at the wedding.

Earlier, glimpses of Nupur’s vibrant wedding procession showed him donning a black sleeveless t-shirt, white shorts, and sky-blue sneakers.

Notably, the groom jogged a distance of 8 km from Santa Cruz to Bandra to reach the wedding venue. Additional footage showcased Nupur playing the dhol and making a grand entrance, including a surprising dance outside the venue that left everyone in awe.
