Currently engaged in filming the 16th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan often shares images from the set on his social media. Amidst the buzz around the Bachchan family, especially after Abhishek Bachchan’s controversial Instagram ‘like’ related to a divorce post, Amitabh remains focused on his work.

Amitabh's latest post on X has gone viral.

In his post on X, Amitabh wrote,

“T 5089 – The work at KBC… renders long hours, but fills one with deep emotion and exciting entertainment in my talks with the contestants…”

 

Last week, Amitabh shared a black-and-white photo on his X handle from the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati, welcoming the audience to the new season.

“T 5082 – BACK to KBC 16th season,”

he captioned the image.

Amitabh Bachchan has hosted KBC since its inception in 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. Reflecting on the end of KBC 15, Big B had an emotional moment, stating,

“Devi aur Sajjano, ab hum jaa rahe aur kal se yeh manch ab nahi sajega. Apno se yeh keh pana ki kal se hum yahan nahi aa payenge, na kehne ki himmat hoti aur na kehne ka mann hota hai. Main Amitabh Bachchan iss daur ke liye, iss manch se akhri baar kehne jaa raha hu, Shubraatri.”

KBC 16 was announced in April with a promo and open registrations, although the official premiere date remains unconfirmed.

Meanwhile, the Bachchan family has been in the limelight due to Abhishek’s ‘like’ on a divorce-related post. This act raised questions as Aishwarya Rai recently appeared alone on the red carpet at the Ambani wedding, while Abhishek was with his family. It was later clarified that Abhishek was supporting a friend who co-wrote the post. Aishwarya Rai, who had been vacationing in New York with Aaradhya Bachchan, has now returned to India.
