John Cena met Shah Rukh Khan at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in July. The wrestler-turned-actor shared how the Bollywood’s star’s Ted Talk orchestrated a change in his life.

John Cena, who recently visited India to take part in Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish wedding in Mumbai, shared he was “starstruck” and “emotional” when he met Shah Rukh Khan in person. In a recent interview, the wrestler-turned-actor revealed SRK’s Ted Talk changed his life. “They helped orchestrate a change in my life,” he said.

John Cena, who is gearing up for the release of his film Jackpot, recently in an interview with ANI, shared his experience of meeting Shah Rukh Khan. He said, “He (Shah Rukh) did a Ted Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life. And since that change, I have been able to recognise all the jackpots that I have been given and been grateful and work hard to make sure I don’t waste them.”

Talking about his recent meeting with SRK, John said, “It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person’s hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did.”

John Cena called Shah Rukh Khan empathetic, kind and sharing. He confessed that he was both “awestruck” and “starstruck” after his “fantastic” and “wonderful” meeting with him.

This is not the first time when John Cena has expressed his love for Shah Rukh Khan. Earlier, after attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, the wrestler took to his X handle to share his experience.

He wrote, “A surreal 24 hours. So grateful for the Ambani family for their unmatched warmth and hospitality. An experience filled with so many unforgettable moments which allowed me to connect with countless new friends, including meeting @iamsrk and being able to tell him personally the positive effect he has had on my life.”

In February too, the wrestler-turned-actor expressed his love for the Bollywood star. In a viral video, John Cena could be seen singing ‘Bholi Si Surat’ song from Shah Rukh Khan’s Dil Toh Pagal Hai.

While the video was all over the internet, it also caught the attention of Shah Rukh Khan, who reacted to the video and wrote, “Thank you both… Love and love you @JohnCena. I’m gonna send you my latest songs and I want a durt from the two of you (John Cena and Gurv Sihra) again!!! Ha ha.”
