MUMBAI : An old footage of Abhishek Bachchan’s sister Shweta Bachchan Nanda discussing what she “hates” about her sister-in-law has surfaced, even as the rumors of their alleged divorce from Aishwarya Rai continue to swirl. In the video, which is from Shweta’s visit on a previous episode of Koffee With Karan, she discusses Abhishek and Aishwarya.

A few years ago, Bollywood fan clubs and meme pages circulated the video on numerous social media platforms, and it has recently garnered popularity once more. In the video, Shweta from the second season of the program is seen answering questions from Karan Johar during the renowned rapid fire round. When asked to enumerate the traits of Aishwarya that she finds acceptable, dislikes, and enjoys. Aishwarya was praised by Shweta for being a strong, independent woman and an excellent mother. But when it came to a trait in her that she detested.

Shweta is heard saying, “I hate that she takes forever to return phone calls and messages. I tolerate her time management.”

Many were also taken aback when Shweta was asked by Karan to choose between Aishwarya and Abhishek for best actor. Many of Shweta’s fans were displeased that she chose her brother. Many others, however, supported her decision as well, pointing to Abhishek’s roles in movies like Yuva, Guru, and Paa.
