In an interview, 16-time World Champion John Cena discussed his experience at Ambani’s wedding and his encounter with Shah Rukh Khan. He said, “He (Shah Rukh) did a Ted Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life. Since that change, I’ve been able to recognize all the jackpots that I’ve been given and been grateful and work hard to make sure I don’t waste them. It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person’s hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did. He was amazing. He couldn’t have been more empathetic and kind and sharing. It really was wonderful. It was wonderful. I was awestruck”

John Cena has been deeply inspired by Shah Rukh Khan and has incorporated SRK’s life lessons into his own. Cena credits SRK’s motivational influence as a significant help during difficult times in his life. This isn’t the first time Cena has praised the Bollywood icon; he recently attended Anant Ambani’s wedding, where he had the chance to meet Shah Rukh Khan. Cena shared his experience on social media, posting a picture with SRK and writing in the caption, “A surreal 24 hours. So grateful for the Ambani family for their unmatched warmth and hospitality. John Cena is currently occupied with promotional events for his upcoming movie, Jackpot, directed by Paul Feig, which is set to be released on August 15th. Additionally, Cena is engaged in his Retirement Tour. According to Triple H, Cena is scheduled to appear at next year’s Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41 in April 2025. He is expected to officially retire from WWE towards the end of 2025.
