Priyanka Chopra, who is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, recently appeared on Kapil Sharma’s show. It was the first time the actress and the comedian were meeting after their respective weddings (Priyanka married Nick Jonas, while Kapil Sharma tied the knot with girlfrined Ginni Chatrath). The two had a hilarious conversation about their weddings, mothers-in-law and life after marriage.

Kapil Sharma asked Priyanka about her husband Nick Jonas. He asked, “Achcha Nick jo hain, woh aapki mummy ko aise milte hain jaise India mein milte hain damaad? Aise paer chooke? Ya hawa mein air kiss karke? (How does Nick greet your mother? Does he touch her feet like sons-in-law do it in India or do they exchange air kisses).”

Priyanka had a smart reply ready for the king of comedy. She said, “Dono ke beech mein. Bechara hug karta hai (Neither. He gives her a hug).”

The funny conversation didn’t end here as Kapil kept on cracking hilarious jokes. The comdian told Priyanka that he should have attended the desi girl’s wedding as her sister to get a diamond ring as a gift from Nick.

Priyanka Chopra is promoting her film with great fervour. Recently she visited a dandiya event in Ahmedabad with co-star Rohit Saraf. The actors were seen matching their steps to the tunes of Gujarati music. Videos from the event went viral. The actress also shared video on her Instagram account.

Priyanka’s film The Sky Is Pink also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film is based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary. Aisha was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and died in 2015.
