Priyanka Chopra fails lie detector test as she calls Nick Jonas ‘a good actor’: ‘I keep lying about his acting’

Priyanka Chopra, in her latest interview, lied about Nick Jonas being a ‘phenomenal’ actor but got caught since she was taking a polygraph exam.

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her singer-husband Nick Jonas shared the screen together in her recently released romantic drama, Love Again. Nick made a cameo in the film, which also starred Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. Priyanka, in her latest interview, lied about Nick being a ‘phenomenal’ actor but got caught since she was taking a polygraph exam.

Priyanka, who plays a spy in her latest web series Citadel, recently took a lie detector test, where she first lied about Nick being a good actor, but later admitted that he might need a lesson or two in acting. When asked what does she think about Nick’s acting skills, PeeCee replied, “I think he’s an excellent actor.” When the interviewer said it was a lie, she corrected herself, “He is a phenomenal actor.” As she was pulled up for lying again, she admitted, “I keep lying about his acting.”

Priyanka didn’t give any ‘acting lessons’ to Nick when they shot for Love Again. However, if they ever get cast again, she will teach him as she said, “I do have a little bit more experience.”

Earlier, Priyanka had expressed gratitude towards the makers of Love Again for asking Nick to star in the movie. “Because the scene, as it was written, is a bad date, and it’s slow slobbery kissing with an actor. It was written like that, and I had to do it with a stranger, like a random person slobbering slowly on my face. So, I was so grateful that Nick, first of all, was approached. And second of all, it was my husband that did it. So I was like, phew. Dodged that bullet,” Priyanka shared on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

During her lie-detector test, Priyanka also opened up about not being a fan of Nick or the music band, Jonas Brothers before the American singer slipped into her DMs. She said, “I knew of the Jonas Brothers, I knew the music, but, no, I didn’t know very much about them.” She also added that Nick was not her favourite from the band until he approached her on social media. Priyanka said, “Didn’t have skin in that game at that time, but after he DM’d me, immediately he was.”

After knowing each other for two years, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in 2018. They are now blessed with daughter, Malti Marie Jonas.
