Sonakshi Sinha is all set to tie the knot this weekend with long time beau Zaheer Iqbal. The couple has been in a steady relationship since a few years now. A couple of years back, Sonakshi was subjected to wedding rumours with Salman Khan. A photoshopped picture of Salman and Sonakshi, in wedding attires, had going viral on the internet.

Netizens claimed that Salman and Sonakshi had got hitched at a private event in Dubai in 2022.

Slamming the speculations, Sonakshi had commented on an Instagram post, “Are you so dumb that you can’t tell the difference between a real and a morphed picture.”

Speaking about her bond with Salman Khan, Sonakshi had previosly told IANS, “My bond with him goes beyond a professional relationship of co-actors. I knew him before I started acting. Our families have known each other for a long time now, and I have known him more as a friend than a co-star.”

Zaheer and Sonakshi will reportedly have a registered wedding, post which the festivities will continue at Bastian in Mumbai. The couple’s close friends and family have been invited for the celebration. Salman Khan is also on the guest list and it remains to be seen if he will make an appearance at the wedding. Sonakshi and Zaheer had been dating for several years and even shared the frame in ‘Double XL’. Interestingly, Salman had also introduced Zaheer in Bollywood with his production venture ‘Notebook;, which released in 2019.
