When trouble comes knocking on the door of celebrities, the worst part is it being splashed across headlines and being made gossip out of. Something that we witnessed when last year Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was roped in a case by Mumbai Police on charges of drug possession.

The charges, which were later dropped, upended the life and reputation of Aryan Khan who was at the brunt of a lot of backlash, on and off camera. However, since then, the young Khan has managed to redeem himself whether it was by launching his own Vodka line, his super-expensive clothing brand or announcing his upcoming directorial debut.

The young Khan who hasn’t yet ever addressed the media or given an interview will be making his on-screen debut with father, Shah Rukh Khan on the couch of Koffee with Karan.

Reports suggest that Aryan Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will be gracing the couch on KWK as guests and this news has particularly made fans giddy with excitement and curiosity.

The show’s 8th season is slated to be released on Disney+ Hotstar this year around August. For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan had not appeared on the infamous Koffee Couch last year, considering he was working on his then upcoming film Pathaan and had taken a sabbatical from films.

Gauri Khan, who appeared in the 7th season, did speak about the turmoil her family went through and is yet again expected to make an appearance with her husband SRK and son Aryan Khan.

On the work front, SRK is working on his upcoming release Jawan directed by Atlee while Aryan Khan is gearing for the release of his first directorial series titled Stardom, which is going to be a 6 episode series. The series is touted to have guest appearances from actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan.

Suhana Khan on the other hand is promoting her own upcoming film The Archies, being directed by Zoya Akhtar.
