15 Married Bollywood Actors Who Cheated On Their Wives With Other Women

Think of Bollywood heroes and you are reminded of the ‘happily ever after’ lives of their reel world. Not only this, you idealise their on-screen loyalty and love towards their better halves. But, the story is quite different in real life.

These celebs were considered the most loyal husbands until their ‘alleged affairs’ with their newfound loves came out in open. So, let us show you some Bollywood heartthrobs who cheated on their real wives.

#1. Aditya Pancholi

For Aditya Pancholi, it was like a match made in heaven with wife Zarina Wahab, before his affair with Kangana Ranaut started making headlines. Not only was his disloyal act was noticed, he also boldly admitted to his affair with Kangana and many others. The relationship sent ripples of shock to his wife, but Aditya and Zarina’s liaison proved strong enough to stand up to the emotional battering. Bridges were soon mended and things got normal.

He got awara with the femme fatale of the tinsel town and risked his marriage with wife Krishna. Yes, we are hinting at the gorgeous Nargis, who featured with Raj Kapoor in the iconic song ‘pyaar hua ikraar hua’. Well, the romance crumbled because he remained faithful to his spouse and refused to marry this starlet. Nargis finally moved on, and later married actor Sunil Dutt.

Both of them converted to Islam, as Dharmendra’s first wife was not ready to divorce him.

When Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak was released, Aamir became an overnight sensation. Right after that, Aamir went on to tie the knot with his childhood sweetheart Reena at the age of 21. They were happily married for 15 long years. Aamir cheated on his wife with the assistant director of Lagaan, Kiran Rao. The news of his affair with Kiran broke his marriage with Reena.

Recently, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their separation in a joint statement. As per the joint statement, Aamir and Kiran decided to be co-parents and family for each other.

Saif was very young when he tied the knot with much older Amrita Singh. After staying together for 13 years, the couple decided to call it quits. Well, the reason behind their divorce was Saif’s scintillating affair with an Italian model named Rsa Catalano. After his divorce from Amrita, Saif dated Rosa for a couple of years. All is history now as Saif is happily married to Bebo.

Superstar Kamal Hassan was a married man when he met Sarika. Kamal Hassan was happily married to Vani Ganpathy, but their marriage ended in divorce as he fell in love with Sarika. After having a love child with Sarika, Kamal tied the knot with her. But, even this marriage didn’t last as he fell in love with another actress named Simran Bagga. His last partner was Gautami Menon who also parted ways with him after 13 years of live-in relationship.

The much-married Mithun Chakraborty was smitten by Sridevi’s beauty and the two got secretly married. Mithun was already married to Yogita Bali when he tied the knot with Sridevi in 1985. After some time, Sridevi got to know that Mithun has not divorced his first wife. Later she annulled her wedding to Mithun in 1988.

Shatrughan Sinha, who ruled the silver screen in 70s and 80s fell for his leading lady, Reena Roy during the filming of Kaalicharan. The only problem with this love story was that Shatrughan Sinha had already promised marriage to his girlfriend of five long years, Poonam Sinha. Though in love with Reena, Shatrughan decided to tie the knot with Poonam in 1980. Poonam was happy thinking that Shatrughan is committed to her only, but there were rumours all over that he was still meeting his lover, Reena Roy secretly.  Reena, unable to bear the trauma of being the ‘other woman’ in this relationship, decided to give Shatrughan an ultimatum. Shatrughan chose his wife and kids over his love and fondness for Reena and this put an end to their romance.

Pulkit Samrat was in a committed relationship for many years with his sweetheart, Shweta Rohira. Pulkit tied the knot with Shweta in a lavish ceremony in Goa in 2014 but the marriage ended on a very ugly in 2015, only after 11 months! Shweta was shattered when she got to know that her husband was having an affair with his Sanam Re co-star, Yami Gautam. Shweta even went on to accuse Yami for being the woman who stole her husband. Today, Shweta and Pulkit are legally divorced and Yami Gautam married director Aditya Dhar in a private ceremony in 2021.

Govinda, the king of comedy and dance in Bollywood is happily married to his wife, Sunita for almost 31 years now and the couple is blessed with two kids, a son and a daughter. Govinda and Sunita’s married life was not a piece of cake as they had their share of ups and downs. During the making of Hadh Kar Di Aapne in 2000, Govinda fell for Rani Mukerji. Govinda cheated on his wife and had an extra-marital affair with Rani. It was said that he spent a lot of money in buying cars and diamonds for her and was also found in a nightdress at Rani’s place when a journalist came to her house for an interview. Both dated for quite some time, but never admitted to their affair publicly, though Rani once admitted that the two have maintained a distance due to his wife, Sunita.

The actor, during the filming of Abdullah fell in love with Zeenat Aman in Jaisalmer in 1980. Zeenat and Sanjay started dating and were in a steady relationship for a very long time. Zeenat was looking for commitment but what Sanjay gave her in return shattered her. Sanjay along with his wife, Zarine beat Zeenat black and blue, at a Bollywood party which permanently damaged one of her eyes. Not only did Sanjay beat her but also abused her and accused her of cheating on him with other men. This was one of the most horrifying incidents of Bollywood.

Firoz Khan, one of the most good-looking actors of Bollywood was a heartthrob back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Firoz fell head-over-heels in love with a socialite named Sundari whom he met at a party. Sundari was a single mother but that didn’t deter him from falling in love with her or marrying her. The two tied the knot in a low-key ceremony after dating for three years. After a few years of blissful marriage and three kids, Firoz fell in love again, this time in a flight, with an air hostess. He had a brief extra-marital affair with a younger girl named Jyotika. The two used to spend a lot of time in Bangalore but as soon as his wife, Sundari got to know about his affair, she left him along with her kids. After his affair with Jyotika ended, he got back with Sundari but broken relationships hardly sustain the test of time. The couple ended up parting ways legally in 1985, but on an amicable note as the two simply grew apart.
