YouTuber Nitin Maurya questions hypocrisy of Bollywood stars for endorsing unhealthy food while being health-conscious themselves.

Fitness influencer and YouTuber Nitin Maurya has lashed out at Bollywood stars for endorsing unhealthy food while being health-conscious themselves. Recently, the YouTuber dropped a video which showed several celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kartik Aaryan talking about being healthy despite them featuring in television commercials for junk food items.

The video begins with Kartik Aaryan discussing the importance of staying away from junk food like burgers, pizza, and sugar. However, it then shows him promoting a burger brand. It then shows Samantha talking about the significance of avoiding sugar and chocolates in a podcast. However, she then promotes the consumption of coconut oil. She is also seen endorsing a chocolate brand.

The YouTuber’s video then shows Alia Bhatt talking about how sugar isn’t good for health. It features a clip from her appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show when she refused to take a coffee with sugar. However, she then promotes a chocolate brand.

Sara Ali Khan is shown eating pizza and drinking a soft drink in a television commercial. However, to everyone’s surprise, she claims in an interview that she avoids junk food. The video also shows Ananya Panday claiming she does not know how to light a cigarette. However, she is then seen smoking in a viral clip. It ends with Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn endorsing a tobacco brand.

YouTuber questions this hypocrisy by Bollywood stars and says, “Do not take life and nutrition advice from actors. They are not the person who you should look up to. They are just as flawed as you or me. With no morals and values. They will not eat tobacco but will ask you to eat it. They will not consume poison but will ask you to do it. They do not risk their money into betting but will ask you to do it. Did you get it?”

Soon after the video was shared online, several social media users also reacted to it and expressed disappointment with the Bollywood stars. “This should be shared with every single Indian,” one of the users wrote. “Choose your heroes wisely. Most of them are actors and they act,” added another.
