Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas welcomed their first daughter last week via surrogate.
Recently, Nick Jonas’ representative confirmed to People that the singer and his wife had their first child through surrogacy. The healthy baby girl was born on January 15, 2022. The golden couple of the American entertainment industry also quickly shared the good news on social media but did not reveal the appearance or name of their daughter.
Priyanka Chopra wrote on her personal Instagram: “We are extremely happy and would like to confirm that my husband and I are expecting our first child via surrogacy. Nick and I hope everyone will respect our privacy at this time as I want to fully focus on my family.”
The beauty queen’s post immediately received countless likes and congratulatory comments. However, many viewers were also curious as to why Priyanka Chopra decided to have a child through surrogacy. The couple’s family has yet to share any further information regarding this.

Despite a 10-year age gap, they are still one of the most well-matched couples in the American entertainment industry .
