Urvashi Rautela confirms that the ‘leaked’ video is not one of the deepfake videos but is actually her.

Urvashi Rautela recently grabbed headlines after her ‘leaked’ bathroom video went viral. In the video, the actress is seen setting her hair and makeup in the mirror, and the clip cuts off as she tries to change her outfit. At first, fans were upset, thinking it was one of the AI deepfake videos that have targeted multiple actresses. However, it turns out it was a ‘leaked’ scene from one of her upcoming movies.

Urvashi Rautela has been a part of movies including “JNU: Jahangir National University,” “Dil Hai Gray,” and “The Legend.” Her upcoming movie, “Ghuspaithiye,” had one of its bathroom scenes leaked. The actress shared that she was upset that a movie clip she worked on got leaked online.

She shared with Instant Bollywood, “The day the clip went out, obviously I was upset for that period of time. Of course, it’s not my personal life, it’s not my personal clip, it’s part of a movie, ‘Ghuspaithiye.’”

When asked whether any of her personal clips had ever been leaked, she confronted, “No, no, I wish no woman goes through something like this.” The actress added that the day the video got out, she was really upset.

For the unversed, the 23-second clip that went viral on the internet shows Urvashi Rautela in a bathroom, apparently preparing to have a bath. Users on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms were left confused about whether the leaked clip was real or another case of deepfake.

Many fans were concerned, knowing it was something that would affect Urvashi Rautela. One user wrote, “If it was a PR move, if so, it was a bad one from Urvashi Rautela and her advisors.”

Another video being shared on the internet after the ‘leaked’ clip was from Urvashi’s phone call recording with her manager, where the actress was seen questioning how it all happened. In the recording, the actress can be heard asking, “Have you seen the video? I just don’t understand how these things are going out. I need to get on a call with them immediately.”

Her manager calmed her down by letting her know that the team was trying to get the video off the internet at the moment. He also agreed that “it’s a sad situation.” Knowing how calls can be tracked and recorded, the manager advised discussing this topic in person rather than on the phone for safety measures.
