After a night out with her mother, Ujjala Padukone, on Thursday, the mommy-to-be Deepika Padukone made a heartfelt visit to Farah Khan’s home. The actress, currently expecting, paid her respects and checked in on the choreographer following the recent loss of her mother, Menka Irani.
The actress was spotted and snapped by the paparazzi, seated in her car as she made her way into Farah’s residence.
Farah’s mother passed away on July 26, 2024. Several celebs were seen visiting Sajid’s residence where she passed away, to pay their last respect and give condolence to Sajid and Farah Khan.
Menaka Irani, born on July 12, 1945, was the sister of Honey Irani and actress Daisy Irani. She started her film career as a child artist in the 1963 film Bachpan, with her sister Daisy. Menaka married stuntman and director Kamran Khan, and they had two children, Farah and Sajid Khan. Farah has openly discussed their financial struggles following Kamran’s death, which was due to alcoholism.
Menaka Irani, maternal aunt to Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, had a close bond with them. She is survived by her children, Sajid Khan and Farah Khan, son-in-law Shirish Kunder, and grandchildren Czar, Anya, and Diva Kunder. Her passing is a significant loss to her family and loved ones.
