Aishwarya Rai, often hailed as one of the world’s most beautiful women, has had an illustrious career spanning Bollywood and Hollywood. Born in Mangalore, Karnataka, into an educated family, Aishwarya excelled academically and showed early promise in classical dance and modeling. Her entry into the world of beauty pageants saw her crowned Miss World in 1994, a title that catapulted her to international fame. Aishwarya’s journey in Bollywood was marked by blockbuster hits like “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” and “Devdas,” solidifying her status as a leading actress. Her beauty and talent also earned her global recognition, making her the first Indian actress to serve on the Cannes jury and to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds.

Despite her professional success, Aishwarya’s personal life has been fraught with challenges, particularly in her relationships. Her highly publicized and tumultuous relationship with Salman Khan led to significant personal and professional setbacks. After their breakup, she faced industry backlash, with many actors refusing to work with her due to Salman’s influence. This period of her life was marked by struggles, as she navigated the complexities of fame and the impact of her relationships on her career. However, Aishwarya eventually found love again with Abhishek Bachchan, with whom she starred in several films, and the couple married in 2007.

In recent years, rumors of marital discord between Aishwarya and Abhishek have surfaced, drawing public attention to the challenges she faces within the Bachchan family. Despite these rumors and the scrutiny surrounding her weight and appearance, Aishwarya has continued to work, albeit less frequently, in films. Her journey reflects the dual nature of her beauty—while it brought her fame and success, it also became a source of immense pressure and personal strife. Aishwarya Rai’s life story is a testament to the highs and lows of being a global icon, where the blessings of beauty and fame come with their own set of challenges.
Previously there were rumours that Aishwarya was a manglik and she was made to marry a tree to break the curse. Aishwarya subtly yet very efficiently responded to it.

MUMBAI : Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are one of the most loved and influential couples in the world. They have the world together in several films and fell in love during the making of one of those films. The couple often set goals for an ideal couple and make hades turn with their appearances.

Previously there were rumours that Aishwarya was a manglik and she was made to marry a tree to break the curse. Aishwarya subtly yet very efficiently responded to it. Aishwarya said, “Yes, there was so much of that. I just thought it was so unnecessary. To dedicate the kind of prime time, the kind of newsprint, the kind of magazine cover stories for all of that was very unnecessary. The wonderful part was that, as a family, we are solid. We are all in the public eye, and we have ample opportunity to voice ourselves, but instead of adding to the din, we decided to have the father of the family… Paa did meet the media at a very decided point in time way after the wedding and answered all the queries.”

Aishwarya further added, “It’s shocking. While we would like to imagine that it is a passing phase, it gets logged. And I recognised it at times when you get to travel abroad, of which there is an ample opportunity… So, you’re constantly interacting with international media, and when they start wondering at the sheer ludicrous nature of everything, like, ‘You got married to a tree, and you have this huge curse on you?’ You just think, ‘Oh my god, where am I going to start.

Amitabh later addressed the rumours himself saying, “Where is the tree? Please show it to me. The only person she’s married is my son. Unless you think Abhishek is a tree.”

Aishwarya and Abhishek first met during the photoshoot of Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke. they have worked together in movies like Kuch Naa Kaho, Dhoom 2, Sarkar Raj, Umrao Jaan, Guru, and Raavan.
