Ranbir Kapoor refers to Deepika Padukone as the epitome of “cheapness” in a  video that has gone viral, stating, “You can talk naughty with her.” This resurfaced clip showcases the playful banter between the two actors, who are admired for their on-screen chemistry as well as their off-screen camaraderie.

In the conversation captured by Zoom TV, Ranbir Kapoor remarked,

“Deepika ke andar na ek badi si cheap girl bassi hui hai. You know, you can really talk naughty with her. You can get very cheeky with her and she responds very well. She’ll respond in a more cheeky way. Agar aap usko ungli karoge an, voh chodegi nahi. Voh aur ungli karegi. She’s not that kind of girl ki aap usko chidhaoge aur voh sulk karegi ya kuch. Voh wapas degi.”

He further elaborated, recalling an instance during the filming of  Love Aaj Kal, where director Imtiaz Ali discovered Deepika’s comfort with such interactions. Ranbir shared,

 “Imtiaz also realised this during Love Aaj Kal. First he used to talk to her she used to be very shy… badi sehmi si rehti thi… ek usko idea aaya ki usko kuch cheaply boloonga. Toh uss time, her eyes lit up. She responds to cheapness very well.”

When Deepika asked him, “How would you be cheap with me?” Ranbir Kapoor replied,

 “How would you be cheap with me?” The actor responded, “I can’t be in front of the camera. But I’m telling you, isme cheapness bhara hua hai. Cheapness ki dukaan hai yeh.”

 

The duo’s dynamic has always captivated their audience, both on and off the screen. While Ranbir Kapoor’s latest project includes Nitesh Tiwari’s  Ramayana alongside Sai Pallavi, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan and is set to appear in The Intern alongside Amitabh Bachchan.
